This band played in the foyer of The Barbican before the Efterklang gig. In many ways, they were my favourite part of the evening: lots of people sitting on the floor and drinking beer as they listened to folk music played like nothing really mattered. Then, the tremulous whistling comes in, and everything gets very serious.
